Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) held their 8th Annual Research Event in July at the Welcome Center, Coventry, to celebrate and promote ongoing research projects within the trust.

Evaluation of the self-assessment version of GRaCE - myGRaCE - is one such project. Over 400 patients with mental health problems, receiving NHS treatment within CWPT, have volunteered to be monitored by practitioners using myGRaCE. Collaboration with the trust and these volunteers has provided invaluable feedback about how myGRaCE helps patients and practitioners work together in monitoring mental health, understanding issues and evaluating the effectiveness of care. This is useful in directing efforts to further develop and refine the service, making it as accessible and helpful as possible, while reaching new users.
The GRaCE team were in attendance at the event, making contact with delegates from within the NHS and the healthcare technology industry, and also presenting a research poster explaining GRaCE and the activities surrounding it.
Working with CWPT, and piloting myGRaCE in the community, is helping to improve our technology and opening up new avenues for dissemination.
