WMAHSN Celebration of Innovation Event

The West Midlands Academic Health Science Network (WMAHSN) held their annual Celebration of Innovation event at the NEC, Birmingham in July, which was attended by GRaCE-AGE.

The WMAHSN exists to enhance collaboration and support between organisations involved in healthcare across the West Midlands, in industry, academia, charity and the NHS. As a flagship project from EIT Health, the European Union funding programme running in partnership with the WMAHSN and Aston University, GRaCE-AGE was showcased at the event, including in a video presenting ongoing projects.

EIT Health funding and support is vital to the ongoing success of GRaCE-AGE, and the networking opportunities provided by the WMAHSN to promote the project in the local health tech community are just as important. Earlier in the year, GRaCE-AGE exhibited at Meridian LIVE, an event commemorating the first birthday of the WMAHSN's online Meridian platform.
