St Paul's PACE, a provider of health and social care for older adults in San Diego, California, have become the first adopter of the GRiST risk and wellbeing service in the United States.
St Paul's Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) delivers an extensive range of services for people over the age of 55 in three areas across California, including San Diego. Their care program is designed specifically to help people keep living in their own homes by providing at-home care, or community care at their wellness centres. They coordinate transportation, social support and medical care, including specialist services such as dental and physical therapy. This comprehensive web of services helps their participants to live safely, healthily and independently.
Our partnership with St Paul's PACE is an excellent opportunity for both parties. The GRiST risk assessment service enables secure, remote, comprehensive assessment and management of risk, and the production of a risk formulation which is instrumental in developing a care plan that ensures the safety of service users. In addition, eGRiST's GRaCE-AGE project is continuing to deliver cutting-edge developments in the use of technology to monitor the health and safety of older people living at home.
We're very excited to be working with such a large and dedicated care provider, and to start delivering services in North America. We will be working with St Paul's PACE practitioners to gather feedback which will guide our future development efforts.
